History has been made with Mbombela now directly connected to Europe!

Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport - The inaugural flight of the Airbus A330 for Lufthansa Group's leisure carrier, Eurowings Discover, touched down on Wednesday afternoon the 16th of November 2022 in Mbombela!

This momentous day (after years in the making) was finally celebrated in fine form with distinguished delegates and guests from the Mpumalanga Government and Eurowings cutting the ribbon at the foot of the stairs of the massive plane, supported by a display of traditional African dancers.
